Emergency Relief

The Emergency Fund is the Foundation’s internal emergency grant program created to help Burger King employees experiencing unexpected hardship.

In times of needs, the BK Emergency Fund is there to lend a helping hand to BK team members and their families. For over two decades, the Emergency Fund has been assisting our BK employees with short-term, immediate assistance in situations such as medical illnesses, natural disasters, rebuilding after house fires and other emergencies.  In the wake of challenging times, we’ve seen the powerful relief that comes from just one grant.

The fund has provided more than $4 million in grants to members of the BK family around the world. In 2024, we awarded more than $1,300,000 in emergency relief grants.

Thanks to generous donations by Burger King employees and franchisees, we are prepared to help BK families in 30 countries around the world.

If you are a BK employee who needs assistance, please visit burgerkingfoundation.submittable.com/submit to apply.
